Level Design Temple Ruins - Mountains Environment

The client for Sensual Adventures game requested a test level. It’s a small, enclosed mountain environment with soft daylight peeking through. For this project, I chose the Temple Ruins asset pack.


I started with a greybox draft, running through it with a third-person character to understand how it feels from that perspective.


The level layout needed to be two-sided: the character can move both ways, depending on whether they spawn at the start or the end of the level.
Movement is flexible — the player can take a zigzagging path, move straight through the center, or sneak along the right side via a hidden passage.

During development, I aimed to make each section unique and engaging so that players enjoy exploring without the environment ever feeling repetitive.

When exiting the tunnels at both the start and the end of the level, players are greeted with a pleasing view — a result of carefully considered architectural layout and composition.

I also prepared a short third-person gameplay video for clarity. (The character and camera setup can be replaced as needed.)
⏱️ The creation of this level took around 8 hours.
